What Is A Facial & Why Should I Get One?

Have you asked yourself this question before?

All I can tell you is that the answer is easy.

Facials are a cleaning for your skin. We get told to shower daily so we smell good, we see a dentist every 6 months for our dental health but nobody ever tells us to get facials for our skin health.

Skin is our largest organ. It faces pollution, the environment and damaging UV rays daily. So, why aren't we taught to take care of it? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wish I had the answer.

I'm here to tell you that facials are your skins best friend. Skin needs to be protected and nourished just like all our other organs. Skin absorbs everything you put on it, to a certain degree. Make sure you put nothing but the best clinical grade skincare on your skin.

A facial truly is a cleaning for your skin. When you book a facial with us, we start by cleansing your skin. This ensures makeup and oils are removed from your skin. Exfoliation is the next part before we analyze your skin. A skin analysis is always necessary to make sure we are using the proper skincare products for your skin's needs. We do extractions and a massage with every facial as well. Last but not least, we apply a face mask on your face and while you're soaking in all those benefits, we do a neck & shoulder massage. Wet, hot towels are used to remove the mask, we then apply the proper serums, eye cream, moisturizer and SPF.

The treatment takes about 1 hour from start to finish and we guarantee your skin is going to love it.

If that wasn't enough convincing to get you to come in for a facial, I have more.

By starting to take care of your skin from a young age, you'll be able to age as gracefully as possible. By getting regular facials your skin is going to look plump (well hydrated), have less fine lines & wrinkles, you'll be able to help prevent getting those unwanted sun spots nobody likes and the list keeps going.

All in all, facials are an investment in your skin and in yourself. Who doesn't want to feel comfortable in their own skin and to be able to go out in public without feeling ashamed of their skin? Nobody.

We do what we have to do to feel and look beautiful for ourselves and if getting a facial is the first step, then go ahead and book. You deserve it. 👑
